American Red Cross Welcomes New Board Members/New Employees
Dayton, Ohio, February 10, 2009 – The Dayton Area Chapter of the American Red Cross is proud to announce the addition of several new employees, as well as three new board members.
Joining the Dayton Area Chapter’s esteemed Board of Directors is Ms. Connie Johnson, Vice President of HR Global Operations at NCR Corporation. Mr. Brad Nimer, President of Manufactured Assemblies Corporation. Miss Jonetta White, a junior at the Dayton Early College Academy, completes the new board member list as a Youth Board Member.
“We are pleased to welcome all new board members,” states Tom Fodor, CEO of the Dayton Area Chapter of the American Red Cross. “With every new voice brings new insight on how we can strengthen the role of the Red Cross in the communities we serve.”
New employees for the Dayton Area Chapter include Holly Gersbacher as Financial Development Specialist and Doris Kramer as Financial Development Coordinator in the Financial Development Department. Nick Gill joins the Health & Safety Team as Instructor/Aquatics Program Supervisor. Denise Holland comes to the Business Development Department as Public Relations Coordinator. Ms. Linda Bynum has been appointed as Coordinator at the Greene County Service Center and Denny Sargent as Custodian/After Hours Monitor for the Greene County Housing Program.
Congratulations to Jodi Davis who has been promoted from Health & Safety
Instructor/Aquatic Program Supervisor to Director of the Emergency Services Department.
The Dayton Area Chapter of the American Red Cross is a non-profit organization that provides disaster preparedness and response, and health and safety education to residents of Montgomery, Greene and Preble counties, as well as assistance to families with members in the military. The Chapter also operates Emergency Housing Programs in Montgomery and Greene counties. Led by volunteers, the Dayton Area Chapter responded to nearly 200 local disaster incidents in the past year.
All local Red Cross disaster assistance is free, made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from the American people.
